The All Meat Dagwood with gravy was amazing! Staff were very nice and we got our food quickly. Prices were well below what I would have paid at a similar restaurant!

One of the last original diners around town, it's been a KC staple for decades. Always hot, fresh, and fast. Breakfast is their go-to, but the dinners are pretty good as well.

The waffles, sausage, and bacon were fantastic. Eggs were a bit overcooked, but that's typical for scrambled eggs in a cafe. Servers were very nice and on top of everything. Will be coming back!

We were in town for a weekend and love finding local food spots, this place didn't disappoint. The dagwood sandwich was amazing, not too big but still enough to fill you up. Sausage gravy was good, double Decker dagwood was HUGE. It was all great. 10/10 would recommend if you want old school diner food & feel. Lisa was amazing, wish we lived closer!

I see a lot of posts on this place so I tried it out. I was excited but my experience didn’t turn out so great. The French Toast was lacking flavor, pretty bland. The service from Kim was great. She was kind and attentive. I think she was embarrassed the booth was still dirty. The restaurant is kinda run down, looks pretty dated and the floors and my booth seat were dirty. It was not busy, they had a lot of employees so I don’t know why the floor wasn’t at least broom swept. Their sausage and home fries were pretty good. Coffee was average. I’d try it again one day, but not anytime soon. Hopefully it gets a face lift soon.

Great breakfast. Definitely would go back. Tall, slender guy with epic mustache made our morning. The vibe here is awesome and definitely worth choosing over other box store breakfast places. Great food. Photo is off the Dagwood covered in gravy.
